Article: By the grace of God I am what I am

Here is an excellent article by Mike Ratliff on how we are to see and conduct ourselves before God. We are called to avoid the extreme of overt pride and over-confidence in our abilities, and to avoid the other extreme of false humility, or deprecating ourselves and having an inferiority complex ('pride in its negative form'). As Mike puts it, 'both are attitudes of pride and are in rebellion against God', and I concur.
