NUS CCC asked to cease activities

The intolerance and bigotry of so-called "tolerance" has struck. National University of Singapore has ordered Campus Crusade of Christ to cease its activities because some people were offended about what Christianity teaches. In other countries, such activities will make the university liable to be sued for religious discrimination, but in Singapore, who cares?

  1. simply Christianity is not meant for Asian people it is for whites especially in the Protestant and RC forms...besides its the White guys fault for messing Singapore with their hatred of Asian people up so that they would feel great hostility towards their white faith, and why do you use the derogatory word "romanism" on your blog? how would you like it if someone called you a "prod" on a catholic blog?(dont look up this word if you dont know what it already means)

  2. And how do you know that "Christianity is not meant for Asian people"? Upon what basis do you make such a judgment?

  3. because it was introduced to destroy Asian culture and as well it revolves around white culture, lots of its ideas like exclusivism found in their dangerous idea of monotheism fits very well with the concept of a "master race" that they have, besides since there are different peoples its obvious that there are different religions for those different peoples oh and Chinese character have been found that are older than Adam and Eve http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/6669569.stm

  4. Christianity does not revolve around "white culture." It is from the Middle East.

Monotheism is practiced by Middle Eastern Jews of the Second Temple period, as well as Zoroastrianism and others. Race superiority is not unique to the "white race." It is endemic in every ethnicity on earth. Neither is religious superiority unique to Christianity. All religions claim superiority; the difference is how it is expressed and how they regard and treat the views of others. Some treat other religions as inferior but of no consequence since the strength of their religion means that a person of another religion will reincarnate based upon one's karma (Buddhism) regardless of his or her personal religious views.

  5. As for Adam and Eve, the Bible does not say how long ago they lived. I find it troubling that you think you know.

  6. the bible says they lived 6000 years ago Answers in Genesis and CMI both say that the earth was created about 6000 years ago as well you put up a deceleration from the Orthodox Presbyterian church that the earth was a bout 6000 years old

  7. The Bible gave a genealogy with number of years in there, but it does not give the age of the earth. Raw numbers needed to be interpreted and matched properly with events to decide what year we should start counting backwards from (i.e when was Abraham's time as correlated to world history). It is not as clear cut as you think it is.

True, AiG and CMI claim 6000 years. They are free to propound that particular way of interepretation, which may be true. Other however who have looked at the data have proposed anything from there towards 10000+ years.

The issue is much more complex than the simplistic analysis you put up. Plus of course, there is also the problems relating to radimetric dating and other dating methods, which have lots of assumptions build in

This is my blog, and in order to facilitate an edifying exchange, I have came up with various blog rules. Please do read them before commenting, as failure to abide by them would make your post liable to being unapproved for publication. Violation of any of the rules three or more times, or at the blog owner's judgment, would make one liable to be banned from posting unless the blog owner (me) is satisfied that such behavior would not occur again.
